1. Matthew Saville | 25-Mar-08 at 1:09 pm | Permalink Cool travels, and a good way of titling your images… Just FYI, if you’re free some time you should come check out the Fullerton Arboretum. I’m really enjoying watching the season change… Oh and about Nikon- You probably already know that they used to make a 28mm f/1.4 AF, a 35mm f/1.4 manual focus, and a 50mm f/1.2 manual focus, all insanely sharp lenses if you found a good copy. Why Nikon hasn’t updated or re-worked them into the 21st century yet is beyond me. But the lack of awesome fast-apeture primes is indeed what defeats my interest in FX. Oh well, shallow DOF can still be achieved with an f/2 or f/2.8 lens and an extension tube, of course… Take care, =Matt=
